Our Weekend

Saturday.

We went to St. Louis to meet the
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

It was the 25th Anniversary of these "Heroes."

In fact, the mayor of St. Louis pronounced
June 6th, 2009 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Day. :)

Guess who's the big TMNT fan.
Sunday.

We went to the Springfield Cardinal's game.
It was "Bark in the Park Day."
Diesel fell asleep a few innings in.
Check out her cool bandana!

It was so much fun!
She was a hit! We made several friends!

Celebratin' in Style

This past Sunday was our 1 year anniversary.
Crazy how time flies!
We celebrated in style...by attending
a llama show. :)
haha! Yep, you heard right! A llama show.

We were walking out and we saw this HUGE llama.
We think it's part bear.
The show was in Sedalia, Missouri.
We traveled through some interesting towns to get there.
Here is a sight along the way that made us laugh.
Love the sign! :)

Just an average party.

This past Friday was my birthday.
The Tripp family had a birthday party for me.
It was just your average, run-of-the-mill party.
umm....haha! Well, not quite.
They surprised Dustin and me with llamas.
Yep, you heard right. Real life llamas. In the house.

Nuttin' & Honey standing outside with their owners.

Llama kisses.

Everyone loved the llamas.
Well, everyone except for Grandma.

And Diesel. She wasn't so sure of them either.
Now I know what you are thinking. Llamas? Why?
Well Dustin and I are crazy about them.
We go to llama shows every year. They are so cool!

They're just so huggably soft and gentle.

The whole gang.

Ice Art

Several weeks ago, we saw an ice sculpture
show/competition in Branson.
It was pretty neat!
The sculptors started around 10 in the morning
and had about 4 or 5 hours to finish their
sculpture and get it judged.
This is what they started with.

These are some of the sculptures that were created.

This guy was finished just in time
to be judged. Right after the judges left,
the sculpture shattered into many
many pieces. So sad!
